Wet/Dry Filter Eliminates Change Overs
Don’t be fooled by its compact size, the DEWALT DC500 wet/dry vacuum can quickly clean up monster-size messes around the jobsite, garage and workshop. And unlike standard wet/dry vacs, this cleverly designed unit has two power options: plug its power cord into a 120-volt outlet, or run it off of any 12 to 18-volt DeWalt battery for the ultimate in portability. Use the DC500 to suck up everything from wood chips and metal filings, to sawdust and standing puddles of water. The vacuum has a high-efficiency GORE air filter that captures up to 99.7% of ultra-fine drywall dust. The washable filter can be tapped cleaned, or rinsed under running water, and its unique design allows it to be left in place regardless of whether you’re vacuuming up dry debris or wet spills. The DC500 has a two-gallon capacity tank that’s equipped with a convenient drain plug for emptying liquids. It comes with a 1-1/4 inch diameter x 5-foot-long flexible rubber hose, narrow crevice tool, and wide-mouth nozzle.Battery and charger are sold separately.
